Goodbye Utrecht!!!

It is time to say goodbye… I’m leaving The Netherlands after 11 months here…

This has been an amazing year! With a lot of wonderful experiences, and a lot of awesome people!

Thank you so much people for making this year and unforgettable adventure!!

I am grateful to have been able to spend all this time with you, in this country and travelling arround Europe!

You have helped me to discover a few new and different countries and you have always made me feel at home when I needed it!

I will miss sharing my life with you!! I hope we will see again soon!!

Last scone with Carmen…

The end of my Erasmus is near… Since I have to leave soon, I have to say goodbye to the people…

Today I said goodbye to Carmen, my roommate during part of the first semester. I do not know when I’ll see her again because she lives so far: Hong Honk!

We thought that the best way to say goodbye was with one of our traditions: have a coffe with something sweet at the best café in town: De Bakkerswinkel

I love it because of two things. One, the heart in the Cappuccino!! You even feel bad when you are drinking it!! And, two, they have all kinds of lovely homemade pies. The cheese one is just heaven… But, in our opinion, the best are the scones, small sweet breads as the ones you can see in the picture. They serve it still hot from the oven with homemade jam and the best cream I’ve ever tried!

So, yeah… last scone at Utrecht, and last coffee with Carmen… I WILL MISS YOU!!

Dins d’un aparador…

Si voleu saber quina és la perspectiva des de dins d’un aparador d’Amsterdam, amb aquestes fotos potser podeu fer-vos una idea… Però que sapigueu que no és el que sembla! Continueu mirant i ho entendreu tot!

Vale, sí, són fotos des de dins d’un aparador en Amsterdam… però, no, no m’he ficat a dins de cap aparador per molta falta de diners que tinga…  Resulta que en el Museu d’Història d’Amsterdam, tenen una exposició temporal anomenada The Hoerengracht, que reinterpreta el conegut Barrio Rojo… Una de les instal·lacions que inclou era una falsa cabina en la que els visitants podien entrar per a veure la prostitució des de l’altre punt de vista. Ací podeu veure la cabina completa, i la explicació en anglés…

Beer Evaluation Night (IV)

M’he adonat que fa temps que no pose cap foto de la Beer Evaluation. No és perquè ja no hi vaja! Tot el contrari, els dilluns continuen sent un dels millors dies de la semana a Utrecth

Ahir, ens vam trobar amb una curiositat entre les cerveses temporals… La ESTRELLA DAM DAURA, una Estrella Dam apta per a celíacs!! Que jo sàpiga és la única cervesa espanyola que han tingut este any en el Café België. El més curiós és que jo no l’havia vista mai en Espanya. La veritat és que no estava malament. Ací la teniu…
